Entries open from August 9 to midnight on August 23, 2026. Those subscribed before August 9 are also eligible and already in the draw (unless explicitly stated).
Winner will be notified via email in the week starting August 24, 2026. If the winner does not respond to the organiser’s email or social media correspondence within 7 days (as postal confirmation is required) an alternate winner may be drawn.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
The Feathers of Farwood and The Gripps Curse is a debut novel and first in a trilogy by Queensland author, Jayne McIntyre. Suited for readers aged 8-13, it is published with Riveted Press. It combines magical realism with Australian landscapes and animals, including the Eastern Barn Owl. The prize pack includes a hardcopy edition (signed – personalised as per the winner’s request), 224 pages with an inbuilt ribbon bookmark, and starry night sky illustrated endpapers.
