It’s a moment all new authors hold out for – seeing their debut book (in ‘real life’) for the very first time.

The standout book details for me were:
- Hardcover with foiled owl image and title – so shiny!
- Starry night sky endpapers
- Ribbon bookmark attached (very handy!)
- Illustrations marking the start of each chapter – differentiating between the main narrative (where we follow protagonist Eva Feather’s adventures) and the owl’s viewpoint.
Pre-orders headed for readers Australia-wide
It wasn’t just me who received a special delivery in the mail. Those who pre-ordered through publisher Riveted Press also had copies of The Feathers of Farwood flying their way. Owl post is quite efficient, you see.
As the early reviews continue to roll in, I’m celebrating from right here at my computer desk.

What’s next?
