Getting organised: planners, labels and stationery to brighten your home office & inspire creativity

I don’t know about you, but having a BIG desk calendar, sleek to-do list, magnetic noteboard/whiteboard, and colourful stationery helps me to keep on top of things (whether it’s the weekly chores, upcoming work events, or brand-new book ideas).

At least, it makes me feel like I’ve got everything somewhat under control.

I’ve written about supporting small businesses before and I try to shop with Aussie makers where I can. In some instances (see #5), I’ve purchased from international sellers.

No time to waste, let’s get to it…

Here are my top 5 online shops & entrepreneurial makers for custom stationery, wall planners, desk calendars and more.

Top 5 online shops for the office & home organisation:

1. Siisti

Get organised and take control of your life with Siisti wall organisers and planners for the busy family or writer.

I have the clear, landscape weekly wall planner with beautiful gold mounts in my home office. This handy planner board allows for a week view at a glance – just use colourful whiteboard markers and you’re good to go! They’re easy to install, wipe clean, and suit every home and office.

Shop modern planners and organisers at Siisti.

My Siisti go-to is the reusable, acrylic wall planner with gold mounts – sleek, modern and practical!

2. Steph Pase Planners

I’ve been eyeing these designs on Insta for a while now. Founder Steph is a blogger, mum, and on a mission to help people lead a more organised life.

From planners and pens to chore charts and magnetic to-do lists, there’ll be no forgetting those must-do tasks.

Browse the collection at Steph Pase Planners.

3. Pretty Little Designs

This Western Australian business is known for its pantry labels, office & craft peel and stick labels, plus kitchen and bathroom organisation hacks. It also stocks a range of colourful stationery planners, notebooks, to-do list pads, pens, and creative teacher lanyards.

4. Go for Zero (eco-friendly home office options)

Go For Zero is a Sunshine Coast-based business doing great things for the local community and the environment.

Not only does it stock some beautiful, floral artwork notepads (made with 100% recycled paper – of course) but a really clever ‘Paper Saver – Reuseable Notebook’. This refillable, reusable notebook allows you to easily bind together scrap bits of paper, and use them in a compact, notepad-style format.

How it works: simply fold your A4-sized scrap paper in half, pop it through the spring steel wire binder, and you’re ready to jot down your shopping list or next book idea!

Check it out in action, here.

5. Emily Cromwell Designs

I’m adding this US-based maker to my list because her designs are so whimsical and fun. The bookish designs feature bright and happy colours, with items ranging from custom notepads and sticker sheets to journals, notebooks and planners.

As a bonus, Emily’s designs include seasonal best sellers – including spooky Halloween designs, book-themed items for the book lovers and writers out there, and Christmas goodies.

Add a little positivity to your life at Emily Cromwell designs.

A new middle grade book idea calls for a new notepad!
